Since the original call for speculative memorial designs in 2011, art has always been foundational to Chicago Torture Justice Memorials as an organization and the campaign for reparations for survivors. For the second time, we held a silent auction and art market at Walls Turned Sideways, allowing us to strengthen our connections with artists in our community and raise funds for the ongoing memorial project and WTS!
