Community Cookout and Free Grocery Distribution

CTJMF is planning our next mutual aid event! Earlier this year, we handed out over 1,000 pounds of groceries and meals to our neighbors and visitors at our first free food distribution, and now we’re planning the second of many more to come. At the request of our Washington Park neighbors, we will also be hosting a community cookout! Join us on September 26th at the Washington Park Refectory across the street from the future Memorial site.

If you would like to help make it happen, we are looking for volunteers and donations! Use the buttons below to sign up for a volunteer role or donate funds to buy food and supplies. Donations of shelf-stable grocery items can be dropped off at locations in Rogers Park, Oak Park, Woodlawn, or at Walls Turned Sideways.
